This kit is a near-perfect backyard zipline product. I waited to install the zipline until my adult son came to visit with his family. The two of us (mostly him) were able to install it in about four hours, running the line from an unused telephone pole to a redwood tree. The run is about 60 feet and was a major success for my grandchildren. The spring brake is a great feature, saving me the trouble of using an old tire.
The kit was completely self contained so that we were able to just unpack the box, install the kit, and have it operational without further trips to a hardware store. The only thing that we added were some short two-by-twos around the redwood tree to help protect the tree from the cable. Might not have been necessary, but we like to protect the redwoods.

Instructions were clear. Installation was straightforward although we had to make adjustments to get the speed fast enough for my kids (ages 8 and 12) but not so fast as to be overly dangerous. Instructions provided a good starting point for speed. The brake wasn't needed for the stock setup since the ride slows at the end; however, the brake is needed after we adjusted it to run faster. The hardware is quality. This kit came with hoses that slip over the wire and help protect the tree. The included wrench was perfect for install. I can only think of two things that would make it better. The first would be better rollers to have less friction so it wouldn't be so loud and would be able to go faster for less angle. Although, it might make it too fast. The second would be to have trees further apart. This kit was for 70' and it was designed for the distance perfectly. But honestly, a 70' zipline is too short. I wish I had a bigger yard. Not the product's fault, clearly.
